Dr. Ghulam Akbar Khan Niazi
Founder & Chairman
Ghulam Akbar Khan Niazi is a distinguished Pakistani-Saudi physician, educator, and healthcare leader whose career spans over five decades. Born in 1937 in Musakhel, Punjab, and a graduate of Nishtar Medical College, he went on to serve in some of the most prestigious healthcare positions in Saudi Arabia. His contributions reflect a legacy of medical excellence, leadership, and institution-building that continues today through GAK Healthcare International, whose global journey began from Saudi Arabia.
Personal Experience:
Dr. Niazi served as the Ex-Personal and Family Physician of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Aal-i-Saud, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. He held senior positions in the Saudi Arabian National Guard Medical Services, Western Region, Jeddah, and was Director & Consultant at King Khalid National Guard Hospital, Jeddah. Alongside his medical service, he also served as Chairman of Makkah Foundation, Lahore, Pakistan, playing a key role in advancing healthcare and education initiatives. With more than three decades in Saudi Arabia and later contributions in Pakistan, In 2004, he established Islamabad Medical and Dental College and spearheaded initiatives that shaped modern medical education. GAK Healthcare International’s journey also started from Saudi Arabia, expanding on his legacy of global healthcare development.

Yasir Khan Niazi is the Group CEO of GAK HealthCare International, a Public Limited Company leading in healthcare, education, and health technology. With a vision to transform healthcare in Pakistan and beyond, he has led pioneering initiatives in medical education, hospital management, and international healthcare collaborations. His leadership emphasizes innovation, patient-centered care, and building strong global partnerships. He oversees flagship projects including Islamabad Medical & Dental College (IMDC) , the proposed City University Islamabad and YN International Designers (Medical Tourism). He is honored Twice by the President of Pakistan for ANTH’s healthcare and digital excellence. Recognized among the top 100 CEOs of Pakistan by the UK-based CEO Club. He Holds a degree from the University of South Carolina, USA, with over two decades of leadership experience.
Personal Experience:
He worked in senior roles with global organizations including Toyota–House of Habib, Abraaj Capital, Samba Financial Group, and British American Tobacco. He managed high-profile projects such as Saudi Arabia’s largest IPO at Samba. Specialized in investor relations, corporate communications, and strategic healthcare expansion. Currently driving innovation in healthcare and medical education with national and international collaborations.

With a strong medical and administrative background, she plays a key role in ensuring quality standards, patient safety, and innovation in hospital management.

Dr. Areej Neyazi has extensive experience in healthcare management and clinical leadership. At GAK Healthcare International, she has been instrumental in streamlining hospital operations, enhancing patient care systems, and aligning hospital services with international best practices. Her role involves overseeing multidisciplinary teams, fostering medical education, and driving projects that integrate modern healthcare technologies into patient services. Known for her strategic vision and people-centered approach, she continues to shape GAK’s hospitals into models of excellence in Pakistan’s healthcare sector.
